Dr Iva Stanković was born in 1985. in Belgrade, where she graduated from The Third Belgrade High School in 2004 and from School of Medicine, University of Belgrade in 2010 (average mark: 9,50/10). She achieved masters degree in Neurology at School of Medicine, University of Belgrade in March 2013; master thesis: Depression in Parkinson’s disease and transcranial parenchymal sonography findings (menthor: Prof. Vladimir Kostić, MD, PhD). Currently, she is a PhD student in Neuroscience at School of Medicine, University of Belgrade (menthor: Prof. Vladimir Kostić, MD, PhD). She has been engaged within the research team funded by Ministry of Science and Technological Development, Republic of Serbia (Project No. 175090, principal investigator: Prof. Vladimir Kostić, MD, PhD), first as a research trainee from January 2012 to February 2014 and then as a research assistant (ongoing). She has been working as a medical doctor at Neurology Clinic, Clinical Center of Serbia since February 2014.
