Dr. Stojan Perić was born on April 23rd 1983 in Sabac, Serbia. During undergraduate studies at the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade, he was a scholar of the Republic foundation for the development of young scientists and artists and won scholarship of the University of Belgrade. He graduated in 2008 with an average mark 9.83 (of 10.0). He is PhD in molecular medicine since 2014 - doctoral thesis "Investigation of functional and morphological impairments of the central nervous system in patients with myotonic dystrophy type 1". He was a scholar of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of Serbia from January 2009 to May 2010 on the scientific project under the leadership of Academician Vladimir S. Kostic. From May until November 2010 he was employed on the same project as a research assistant at the the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade. He works as a physician at the Neurological Clinic from November 2010. Since January 2011 he is a research associate in neurology. He has been engaged as a researcher on the scientific project of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia under the guidance of Professor Dr. Vidosava Rakocevic-Stojanovic. He finished neurology residency in 2016.
