Vojvodic Nikola, MD, was born in Belgrade, on the 20th January in 1969. He started his medical education at University School of Medicine in Belgrade in 1987 and graduated in 1994 (average grade 9,26). He passed his final exam, entitled “The Parkinson's disease” with grade 10. The very same year he started his postgraduate studies in neurology. After he finished his Internship training with rotator posting in Clinical Center of Serbia he started his four year specialization in neurology at the Institute of neurology in Belgrade. During this period he got training in the laboratory for PCR molecular diagnosis of certain neurological diseases and he went through the course of clinical electroencephalography. He became Master of neurological Sciences in 1999. with the final exam entitled “The Significance of CAG Trinucleotide Repeat Number for Onset, Clinical Course and Differential Diagnosis of Huntington’s Disease”. He finished his specialisation and become neurologist in October of 1999. He has been employed with full working time on Epilepsy department at the Clinic for neurology since June 2000. He is specially involved in the field of uses the video-EEG telemetry in differential diagnosis of epileptic vs. nonepileptic seizures and in presurgical evaluation of patient with pharmacoresistent epilepsies. IIn July 2014, he was appointed as a lecturer of neurology at the University School of medicine in Belgrade. He defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Analysis of periictal vegetative signs for localization of epileptogenic zone in temporal lobe epilepsy," in December 2012. By the decision of the Scientific Council of the Medical Faculty in Belgrade, his book "Temporal lobe epilepsy" was accepted for the Distinguished Monograph of national importance.
