Dr Jelena Drulovic (born Nikolic), is Professor of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade, Head of the Department for immune-mediated disorders of the central nervous system, Clinic of Neurology, Clinical Center of Serbia (CCS). Dr Drulovic graduated from Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade in 1983. In 1986, she began to work as a resident at the Clinic of Neurology, Clinical Center of Serbia, Belgrade, Serbia. Following residency, she trained in neuropsychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade, and passed the specialty exam in 1991. Since 1993 involved in teaching of medical students as Assistant professor of neurology at Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade. Dr Drulovic worked as Associate professor from 1998-2005, and from 2005 on as Professor of Neurology Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade. From 1999-2010, she was Head of the Unit of Neuroimmunology at the Clinic of Neurology, Clinical Center of Serbia, and from 2010 on Head of the Department for immune-mediated disorders of the CNS. From 2004, Dr Drulovic serves as Head of the Comission for Multiple Sclerosis of the Serbian Ministry for Health, and Head of the Comission of the Serbian Health Insurance Fund for the treatment with interferon beta and glatiramer acetate of patients with multiple sclerosis. From 1996, Dr Drulovic participated in four scientific projects focused on clinical and immunologic abnormalities in multiple sclerosis sponsored by the Serbian Ministry of Science and three international projects focused on epidemiology and clinical aspects of multiple sclerosis. Principal investigator in clinical trials in multiple sclerosis. Dr Drulovic has 37 publications in CC, out of more than 300 publications in international and national scientific journals. From 2009, she serves as Associate Editor of BMC Neurology
